Caerwenfor is situated approximately 1 ½ miles from Cwmtydu. It is possible to walk to Cwmtydu either by the road or via the coastal path. Cwmtydu has a lovely unspoilt beach and hardly any development. There is a takeaway /café called Shanti Sion which is open during the peak season only. We have enjoyed numerous cups of tea and welsh cakes at Shanti Sion, the welsh cakes are certainly recommended and no visit to Wales would be complete without them!

Llangrannog is situated approximately four Miles from the property. It is possible to walk to Llangrannog along the road or via the costal path.

Llangrannog has numerous eating establishments, the Pentre Arms has a nice selection of bar meals, with usually a choice of special fish dishes which we believe are caught locally. The Ship Inn also does bar meals and there is also a restaurant on the first floor. The Patio Café is famous for its ice cream and also has a delicious menu of snacks and main meals. There is off course a fish and chip shop situate near the sea front.
